The cars and trucks on the road driving with most people in traffic are assumed safe but this article says different . I have seen many motor vehicles that are being driven that really should not be on the road !!!
Please read and think twice when pulling out in front of some cars and trucks . Give a lot of space for error .

Blitz finds truck flaws
A safety blitz of trucks by Stratford Police and other city and provincial forces within the city May 9 resulted in 18 out of 44 commercial vehicles being taken out of service for various defects. Inspectors found serious flaws in braking systems and load weight and attachments and detected other minor mechanical and equipment issues. Eight of the vehicles were repaired at the scene and permitted to go back into service, nine were towed from the site for more extensive repairs and one had the plates removed from both the trailer and the truck for several safety defects. The charges included six for improper or no trip inspection being completed, six for the vehicles failing to display their annual inspection stickers, three concerning defective brakes, two for driver’s licence issues, one for an overweight load, one for a trailer with an improper means of attachment, one for driving a vehicle with a major defect, and one driver was charged under the Smoke Free Ontario Act for smoking in the workplace – his truck cab.
