A client mentioned today that he was looking for the best mechanic in London Ontario and I am really glad he came in . This man had a bad noise in the back end of his Ford Escape and we took the wheels and rear brake rotors off to access his emergency brake shoes to find all of the hardware was fallen off and the backing plates were rotted out where the hold down pins would lock in . The reason why I think his choice to find the best mechanic in London Ontario was right is because my technician really did some thinking here and used a hold down kit from an older design and saved this client some money and still left the vehicle with a great working emergency brake system . A lot of lesser mechanics would not have been so careful and would have just thrown away the emergency brakes .
