Your kilometres and year make , options , interior level , seating and model should be comparable to what you will show your potential buyer . If you can and will then undercut these other ads to sell faster but if you want the same or more then get ready to justify by using your file of repair receipts and your recent receipt for the safety check .
6) Advertise your vehicle and tell all you can in the ad . Put your price in the ad to increase quality calls and emails and reduce calls and emails you don’t want . Put in the ad any extras like spare tires that come with it and updates you’ve done like a radio or DVD player . Also in your ad put in the remaining warranties on the vehicle if you have any . Be sure to have the paperwork ready for the warranty to show to your buyer .
7) Book showings when you have a friend to stay with you . Do not show vehicle alone to strangers .
8) Keep insurance on the vehicle during the selling period . If someone wants to road test then you are not at risk .
9) Have your car detailed inside and out and waxed to show off it’s shine . A clean car will sell for more $$$$ .
10) Be available to show your vehicle . When the buyer is coming around with money they may go to the next car if you are not available . By the way … Cash or certified cheques are king . Don’t take a personal cheque .
11) When the deal is make then sign the back of the ownership at the signature of seller spot and use the used vehicle package as your receipt . Or
