Save your engine !!!
I still am surprised when a person who owns a Honda , Toyota , Mazda or any other car or minivan and also some domestics has not heard about or been warned about what happens when a simple cheap rubber belt breaks in your engine and damages valves far exceeding some cars values and certainly causing more grief than what was necessary . The changing of the belt is a maintenance service that can be done alone or accompanied with a set of recommended tensioners and even the water pump . This belt is not to be confused with the serpentine belt which is external to the position the timing belt is located at under a cover further inside than the serpentine belt is . The pictures below are 1) a bent valve and 2) a timing belt with the rubber cogs ripped off when it failed .
